Cat Forum--Cat Found Injured by Gin Trap at Miaoli Baishatun Train Station [Taichung Branch]

The cat has already received immediate surgery and ligation on Nov. 8, and discharged on Nov. 10. Currently she's been staying at the Taichung Branch of Animal 119. 

Medical advice and diagnosis:


1: The gin trap had been removed and the wound had showed the sign of recovery, so luckily here's no need to do amputation. Only wound debridement and removal of exposed bone are needed.


2: The coming week is the observation period. If  she walk with the injured foot during the healing period and unfortunately lead to wound infection, amputation would be needed.
